Kentridge Unified Club

 


 

 

What is it? The Unified Club is affiliated with the Special Olympics and will be the charter (first of its kind) club in the Kent School District.

Unified Club is an inclusive club formed for students, with and without disabilities, to provide social opportunities. Club members help provide positive
messages throughout the school. Members have the opportunity to participate in a unified Sports team.

 

Who participates? Students with and without disabilities.

What are Unified Sports Teams?

Unified Sports teams: Consist of students with and without disabilities playing competitively together.This year we are going to participate in Basketball and Soccer. Our practices will be on our club days which will be after school. A schedule for those committed to participating will come later. All games are on Saturday.  For basketball and Soccer there is a 3:2 ratio playing: 3 players, students with disabilities/2 partners (people without disabilities).
