Welcome to Mr. Smith's Webpage!

A little information about myself:

Passionate about life and learning. Excited about being outdoors doing adventurous activities and sports. Enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, mountain biking, and running (when time permits). I also am a fan of the Seahawks and Charger volleyball and basketball.

Teaching has been my career for the past sixteen years at Kentridge High School (Kent, WA) and have had the privilege to work with amazing colleagues who deeply care about teaching and our students. GO Chargers! Currently, I teach one Advanced Placement Biology course, one honors biology and three sophomore biology courses.

Educated at Western Washington University, and proud to be a Viking alum, I hope this web tool will be helpful in communicating information about the cool stuff happening in my classes!

My wife (Kim), a Charger graduate herself, and I have been happily married for nearly twenty years and have enjoyed the opportunity to live near Kentridge and interact with students (former and present) and their families within the community.

Thank you for visiting my web site and please feel free to contact me if you have any comments or questions!
