Library of Congress Teacher Resources

This site has a wealth of resources, including a vast number of primary sources, on-demand professional development, lesson plans, and blogs for more ideas for teaching with primary sources.

Reading Like a Historian

This site, from the Stanford History Education Group, has a series of American history and world history lesson plans based on primary sources. They can be taught in succession or used to supplement existing curriculum.  (Note: you must create a free account to download materials; this helps Stanford track the reach of its project)

Washington State Historical Society History Boxes

For a small fee, teachers can order boxes full of artifacts, images, posters, and pictures, as well as curriculum materials. There are six different topics related to Washington state history available.

NCCE Teaching with Primary Sources

This is the wiki for the two-day workshop I attended this summer. Each teacher who attended created a lesson plan using LOC resources.  There are also links to various resources and documents you might want to check out. You can also keep an eye out for possible workshops next summer!
